The Blue Tactical Tourniquet Holder was designed as a basic elastic universal tourniquet holder that allows it to easily attach to almost any plate carrier or MOLLE pack on the market. Its simplistic design makes it lightweight, durable, and ergonomically functional to ensure you always have a tourniquet at the ready. The Blue Tactical holder is designed around the most commonly used tourniquets (CAT & SOFT-T). With our dual hook & loop flap tourniquet holder, you can place have a tourniquet anywhere on your gear including your shoulder strap, cummerbund, admin pocket, and more. The genuine CAT Tourniquet is a true one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective by the U.S. Army’s Institute of Surgical Research and has saved countless lives. Tests proved that the CAT completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. The Gen 7 CAT utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. The Trauma Shears were designed exclusively for external use and are not suitable for surgical or invasive procedures. Their rugged construction enables them to cut through strong materials such as seat belts, canvas straps, BDU materials - even thin metal and other hard surfaces.
